Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the OAS Alt Text add-in for PowerPoint, provided by Renaissance Intelligence ("we", "us"). By installing or using the add-in, you agree to these terms.
The service
OAS Alt Text writes alt text for images in your PowerPoint slides using an AI provider. You review and can edit every generated description before it is applied to your slide. On the Pro plan it can also run automatic accessibility fixes on a whole deck or selected slides; fixed slides replace your originals only after you confirm, and the add-in lists what still needs your review. Automatic fixes do not guarantee that a presentation meets any accessibility standard or law — you remain responsible for reviewing the result.
Account and sign-in
You access the add-in by signing in with your existing Microsoft or Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure with your identity provider.
Plans and billing
Every account includes 10 free alt-text generations. Continued use beyond that requires a paid subscription:
- Basic — $6.99 per month
- Pro — $19.99 per month
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Manage plan inside the add-in, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current billing period unless required by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the add-in to process content you do not have the right to share, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or to exceed your plan's usage limits through automated or abusive means.
Content and accuracy
Generated alt text is produced by an AI model and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing generated descriptions before publishing or distributing your presentation.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update these terms, the add-in, or our pricing from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms. You may stop using the add-in and cancel your subscription at any time.
